 Busy Licensing Show!

We just returned from the International Licensing Show in Las Vegas. The traffic was steady and our meeting schedule was full each day.. We had productive meetings with existing clients as well as new. 30% of our meetings were with International companies, which represented a large increase over past years. There was strong interest in our Archive in Europe as well as in Asia.

One of our goals as a company is to increase these Markets so were happy with these opportunities. We are also aggressively expanding our Agent network outside the US and had several promising interviews.

As I have mentioned in the past, there always seems to be a theme for every show with our art and product categories. At this show it was apparel and retro both internationally and in the US. We also had interest in our Children’s archive as well as National Lampoon and Bob Mackie.
 
Our new initiative offering photos, text and illustrations within and outside our Archive has generated a lot of interest and allows us to continue to offer rights managed properties as well as royalty- free.

This collection will continue to grow.

It is always interesting to sort through leads from the show and follow up with requests. Hopefully many of these meetings will turn into deals. If any of you have any special needs or questions, please let us know.  Our next stop is Atlanta in July. We look forward to seeing many of you there.
