During the month of August we attended World Market and Magic tradeshows in Las Vegas. We went to World Market to visit with existing licensees and look for partners to fill the children’s furniture and accessory categories for the Jack and Jill brand and art. We had several good meetings with interest and hope to be able to fill these areas soon. The interest in the brand and the art continues to be strong in all the markets we have visited since January.

The Magic show also involved visiting with existing licensees as well as potential new ones. We had a chance to review for the first time the Men’s, Women’s and Children’s apparel launch by Jem. We were very happy with the execution as well as the quality. They had a nice response at the show and are requesting additional images for line extensions.

We also had interest in the National Lampoon brand and it appears we will be closing a deal with a new licensee soon. Humanity had a very strong show for on the apparel side and accessories. They were able to open several new accounts and approximately 50% purchased apparel with accessories. This is a good trend for us on the licensing side.

We were still hearing vintage as a trend in apparel. This trend should translate to home and gift also. We are also seeing the trend show up in national advertising campaigns. Weather- Proof, a major apparel manufacturer and brand, used several of our images on various promotional material at the show including prominent signage.

Over all, we feel the state of the economy continues to drive the interest in vintage and the comfort factor of the art. This should continue at least through 2011.

We are done traveling for a while and are here to answer questions and help you with your needs. Please let us know what we can do.
